About our company

Matt Hareb's entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish M Hareb Excavating in 2007. From humble beginnings with just one excavator, the company has since expanded its capabilities to confidently tackle projects of any magnitude.
As a locally owned and operated company, we take a hands-on approach to every job. Our Director personally oversees and manages larger projects on the machines, and can often be found in the trenches, working alongside our team.

I have known Matt since 2010 when I first came across him doing wellsite construction in rural Taranaki. Since then I have used Matt on many drilling and workoverwell siteand projects. His scope of services has grown over the years from wellsite construction, water trucking, camp construction to drilling cuttings disposal and general project support. Whatever Matt agrees to provide he is committed to providing a full service. He is very hands-on during delivery of the service and ensures that it is delivered in a cost ecost-effective. Matt is always looking for ways to improve the service and/or reduce client costs. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Matt and his team over the years.
